Rootmedia runs from a working floor on the Kozhikode bypass: edit bays, an in-house shoot studio with strobes and backdrop, booth seating for group work, and a lounge for the hours between. The walls carry the studio's own work: the Rooted Way mural and the Faris Root production wall. Every course runs in person in its own lab: the Marketing Lab, Edit Lab, Production Lab, Design Lab and AI Tech Lab, in small batches, with mentors who still take client briefs.

Students travel in from across the district and the wider Malabar region (Malappuram, Wayanad, Kannur and Thrissur), because the building sits on the bypass rather than inside city traffic. Rootmedia runs from two floors in HiLITE Business Park: World Trade Center and the HiLITE Business Park block.
